PRESENTER: Felipe Chee, Investigator, DMV Investigations Division. Felipe is currently assigned to the DMV computer forensics unit as a certified forensic computer examiner (CFCE and EnCE).
Felipe is also an intelligence officer in the U.S Coast Guard Reserves. Prior to joining the DMV, Felipe was a deputy sheriff with LA County Sheriff's Department.
TOPIC: "Detecting Counterfeit and Fraudulent Government Documents"
SYNOPSIS: The emphasis is primarily on DMV documents such as driver's licenses and vehicle titles. Other government issued documents will be examined. Some of the security features of the new driver's license, trends, and connection to criminal enterprises will be discussed.
The presentation is part PowerPoint and part hands-on training. This is also an excellent chance to network with your colleagues from both the law enforcement and private sector arenas.
